My Wireframe Process

What are wireframes?

Wireframes are basic visual guides in which designers position and plot out elements for screens and webpages and show how experimental solutions would flow for the targeted users.

Wireframing is invaluable early in the interaction design process for design teams to explore how concepts accommodate the user and business needs.

Why you should use wireframes in your design process

In the beginning, wireframes might seem like a waste of time but it's actually the other way around.
Building a solid wireframing and wireframing technique helps you solve problems in your design you weren't aware you've had
and that's without taking into account what happens when you use your assets to create the website or app you're designing.

Why are they so important

The skeleton plan of a website can be broken down into three components:
Information design -How to distribute the information
Navigation design - A rough idea of how the user would navigate
Interface design - Where the user would interact with the app e.g. buttons

Ways of using wireframes

They assist the team! - UX Designers and other team members will benefit knowing what's your plan in the early steps of a project as it helps them "see" where you're going with the design, flow, interaction and more.

Placeholders prep the viewer - Companies started showing wireframes as a means to direct the user to the information that will pop up on the screen before the real graphics show up, allowing the user to focus his attention, recognize, and accommodate the real data that will show up shortly.
